Jazzy Employees Spearhead Reforestation Initiative in Algiers

Algiers, Algeria – Employees of Jazzy, a leading telecommunications company, spearheaded a significant reforestation campaign this past Saturday in the Ben Aknoun Forest, a vital green space within Algiers.

The initiative, falling under Jazzy’s broader environmental campaign, “Click for the Planet,” saw hundreds of trees planted, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of company employees, many of whom were joined by their families.

According to a statement released by Jazzy, the reforestation effort was organized in collaboration with the National Institute of Forests and Environmental Training, the General Directorate of Forests, and the Ben Aknoun Park Directorate. These entities provided crucial support to ensure the smooth execution of the planting process.

Beyond its environmental impact, the day was also dedicated to raising awareness and fostering a sense of community solidarity. The program included a guided walk through the Ben Aknoun Forest, as well as various recreational and educational activities for children and their parents.

These activities aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage families to spend quality time together in nature.

Through the “Click for the Planet” campaign, Jazzy reaffirms its commitment to environmental protection by actively involving its employees in initiatives that have a positive impact on the natural world. The company emphasizes that sustainable practices are a core value, and this reforestation effort is a tangible demonstration of that commitment.

The initiative highlights the importance of corporate social responsibility and the potential for businesses to contribute to environmental conservation through employee engagement and strategic partnerships.
