Algiers – The Algerian Football Federation’s Cup Organizing Committee has announced schedule adjustments for the Round of 16 of the 2025-2026 Algerian Cup. The highly anticipated derby between USM El Harrach and USM Alger has been moved forward.
Originally slated for January 15-17, the USM El Harrach vs. USM Alger match will now take place on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 17:00 at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki. This change accommodates USM Alger’s participation in the Algerian Super Cup final against MC Alger on January 17.
The rescheduling has also impacted other fixtures. The match between MC Alger and NA Hussein Dey has been brought forward to Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 19:00 at the Ali Ammar Stadium in Douira. This adjustment aims to ensure fair play and optimal preparation for all participating clubs.
