White House Chief of Staff Exposes Turmoil in Trump Administration

WASHINGTON D.C. – Former White House Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, has revealed significant internal tension within the administration of President Donald Trump. Wiles’s candid remarks shed light on disagreements over policy issues, ranging from immigration enforcement to government downsizing.

In an interview published Tuesday, Wiles, the first woman to hold the chief of staff position, described the former president as possessing traits reminiscent of someone who consumes alcohol, despite his abstinence from it. She also characterized him as harboring a penchant for retribution against perceived adversaries.

Wiles further commented on Vice President J.D. Vance, stating that he “was a conspiracy theorist for a decade.” She implied his transformation from a Trump critic to a staunch supporter was “somewhat political” and driven by his Senate campaign rather than core principles.

Her critique extended to Elon Musk’s restructuring of the U.S. Agency for International Development and Attorney General Pam Bondi’s initial response to the planned release of files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

During the interviews, Wiles also disclosed that she cautioned Trump against pardoning individuals involved in the January 6th Capitol attack. Furthermore, she pressed him to postpone his decision regarding sweeping tariffs, though she was ultimately unsuccessful in altering his course on either matter.

Regarding Wiles’s characterization of him, Trump told *The Post*, “I haven’t read it, but she did a fantastic job.” The comments come amid renewed scrutiny of the former president’s leadership style and policy decisions.
