Burj Bou Arreridj, Algeria – Authorities in Burj Bou Arreridj have successfully dismantled a criminal network specializing in residential burglaries, DZWatch has learned. The operation, conducted by the regional gendarmerie group, resulted in the arrest of four suspects and the recovery of stolen property.
According to a statement released by the National Gendarmerie in Burj Bou Arreridj, the territorial brigade in El Maine received information regarding suspicious individuals traveling in a utility vehicle loaded with furniture and household appliances. Acting on this intelligence, a patrol was formed, and a strategic plan was implemented.
The coordinated effort led to the interception and apprehension of the suspect vehicle. Upon inspection, authorities discovered that the vehicle contained items stolen earlier that day from three residences in the El Maine municipality.
