The Governor of El M’Ghair province, Nahila Laaredj, visited the site of a major traffic accident early Wednesday morning. The incident involved a passenger bus overturning on National Route 03, within the municipality of Oum El Touyour. The accident occurred at approximately 3:00 AM.
Upon receiving news of the accident, the Governor initially went to the emergency department of the Martyr Said Debakh Public Hospital in El M’Ghair. There, she assessed the condition of the injured and the quality of care they were receiving. She then proceeded to the accident site to oversee the rescue and transportation of the wounded.
Following her visit to the scene, the Governor returned to the hospital to further check on the health status of those injured in the crash. During her time at the hospital, she emphasized the importance of providing all necessary medical resources and mobilizing medical and paramedical staff to ensure optimal care for the patients and the provision of all required medical services.
The accident resulted in injuries of varying degrees of severity. Thankfully, no fatalities were reported.
At the conclusion of her visit, the Governor expressed her wishes for a swift recovery for all those injured in the accident. The authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
