The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) is actively supporting the organization of the first edition of ‘Mechanica Algeria,’ a trade fair dedicated to the mechanics and manufacturing sectors. The event is scheduled to take place in Constantine from February 9th to 11th.
AAPI’s Director General, Omar Rekkache, met with representatives from Eventrade, the company organizing ‘Mechanica Algeria,’ at the agency’s headquarters earlier today. The meeting underscores AAPI’s commitment to fostering productive investments and bolstering industrial subcontracting within Algeria.
‘Mechanica Algeria’ aims to provide a platform for industry professionals, manufacturers, suppliers, and investors to connect, network, and explore potential collaborations. The fair will showcase the latest advancements in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technologies, and related services.
This initiative aligns with the AAPI’s broader strategy to stimulate economic growth by attracting both domestic and foreign investment into key sectors. By supporting events like ‘Mechanica Algeria,’ the agency seeks to create a conducive environment for businesses to thrive and contribute to the diversification of the Algerian economy.
The AAPI views the mechanics and manufacturing sectors as crucial drivers of industrial development and job creation. The agency is committed to providing ongoing support to businesses operating in these sectors, including facilitating access to financing, streamlining administrative procedures, and promoting investment opportunities. The ‘Mechanica Algeria’ fair is expected to attract a wide range of participants, including local and international companies, government officials, and industry experts.
Further details about the exhibition, including registration information and the agenda, will be released in the coming weeks.
