Algiers, December 17, 2025 – Kamal Moula, President of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA), affirmed the council’s pivotal role in serving the Algerian economy, both nationally and internationally. Moula’s remarks came during the General Assembly meeting held at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center today.
Moula emphasized, “We have proven that engaging in economic activity with integrity, honesty, and ethics is possible. This forms the foundation of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council’s credibility.” He highlighted the establishment of this credibility as a key achievement, enabling the rebuilding of trust between public authorities and economic operators, citizens and economic players, and among economic operators themselves.
According to Moula, this environment of trust has facilitated the adoption of consultation as a method for improving decision-making in the implementation of national economic policy. It also paved the way for major gatherings between President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and economic operators, a tradition that Moula hopes will become firmly established.
Moula also noted the CREA’s active participation in drafting the new investment law and establishing the single window system. He emphasized that “legislative stability for ten years, along with the single window, transparency in granting industrial and agricultural land, and council support for investors, have enabled the registration of a significant number of investment projects with the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency.”
Furthermore, Moula revealed that the council conducted an in-depth analysis of the reasons for weak exports, resulting in thirty recommendations based on the field experience of operators. These recommendations covered regulatory reforms, streamlined procedures, incentives, logistical improvements, and mechanisms for entering foreign markets.
“Over the past three years, the Algerian Economic Renewal Council has successfully become a unifying space for economic operators from the public and private sectors, a trusted partner for public authorities, and a face reflecting a dynamic Algeria on the international stage,” Moula stated.
In closing, Moula expressed his pride in the achievements made, stating, “I am happy and proud of what we have accomplished together. “
