Education Minister Announces Inspection Body Restructuring

In Constantine today, the Minister of National Education, Mohamed Saghir Sadawi, announced the commencement of a restructuring of the inspection body within the education sector. The announcement was made during the opening of the National Inspectors Conference.

Addressing nearly 800 inspectors from across the nation, both in person and via video conference at the Ahmed Bey Zenith Hall, Minister Sadawi stated that this initiative is part of a comprehensive effort to enhance the educational system, improve evaluation mechanisms, and renew the roles of educational stakeholders, with a particular focus on the inspection body.

Minister Sadawi emphasized the importance of allocating the necessary resources to support inspectors and enable them to perform their duties effectively. He described inspectors as the cornerstone of the sector, highlighting their crucial role in supporting reforms and ensuring their implementation within educational institutions.

The Minister affirmed that organizing this national conference reflects the importance of investing in human capital. He stressed that the inspection profession is based on support, development, and constructive evaluation, all aimed at improving the professional performance of educational and administrative staff in the education sector.

The conference, which brought together inspectors of various ranks and specialties, aims to strengthen the role of inspectors in keeping pace with the changes in the education sector and to enhance evaluation mechanisms as a lever for reform. Organizers further stated it seeks to formulate more effective field approaches to support educational institutions.

The Minister is scheduled to continue his working visit to Constantine, where he will lay the foundation stone for new educational projects and inspect and inaugurate other facilities within his sector.
