Ataf and Ould Merzouk Discuss Developments in the Sahel Region

Algiers – Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Ataf, has exchanged views with his Mauritanian counterpart, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzouk, regarding the latest developments in the Sahel region.

The discussion took place on the sidelines of the second session of the African-Russian Partnership Forum at the ministerial level held in Cairo. During the forum, Ataf highlighted the strong fraternal ties and cooperation between Algeria and Mauritania.
