Severe Thunderstorms Forecast Across Western Algeria Until Wednesday

Algiers – Algeria’s meteorological services have issued a special weather alert, warning of significant thunderstorms expected to impact several western provinces until Wednesday morning. The advisory indicates that rainfall could exceed 50mm in some localized areas.

The affected provinces include Tlemcen, Ain Temouchent, and Oran, as well as Tiaret, Saida, and Sidi Bel Abbes. Residents in these regions should anticipate heavy rainfall accompanied by active thunderstorms.

According to the weather bulletin, the unsettled weather conditions are expected to commence in the early hours of Tuesday, around 3:00 AM, and persist until approximately 6:00 AM on Wednesday. The meteorological services urge citizens, especially drivers and residents in low-lying areas, to exercise caution.
