Algiers – In line with directives from the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development (AADL) has announced the allocation of 80,000 housing units under the AADL rental-purchase program across 26 provinces nationwide.
This initiative forms a core component of the government’s commitment to the ‘AADL 3’ housing program, as outlined in a statement released by the agency on Tuesday.
The distribution of these units signifies a substantial step forward in addressing the nation’s housing needs and providing affordable housing options for Algerian citizens. The AADL program is designed to facilitate homeownership for individuals and families with moderate incomes through a long-term rental agreement that culminates in property ownership.
The allocation across 26 provinces ensures a broad geographical distribution of the housing opportunities, catering to diverse populations and regional demands. This strategic approach aims to promote balanced regional development and reduce housing disparities across the country.
DZWatch will continue to monitor the progress of the AADL 3 program and provide updates on future housing initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for Algerian citizens.
The AADL program remains a cornerstone of the Algerian government’s social policy, reflecting its commitment to providing dignified housing for its citizens. Further details regarding the specific locations and application procedures will be released by AADL in due course.
