AADEL 3 Housing Program: Over 80,000 Units Allocated

The National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development (AADEL) has commenced the allocation of 80,105 housing units across 26 provinces today, Tuesday. This initiative, known as AADEL 3, follows directives from the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and represents a significant step in addressing the nation’s housing needs.

The 2025 Finance Law includes provisions for a program of 200,000 housing units. Furthermore, the 2026 Finance Law envisions the construction of an additional 300,000 units. This commitment translates to a substantial financial investment, enabling the completion of half a million housing units in the coming year.

President Tebboune inaugurated the AADEL 3 program during a visit to Constantine on November 20th. The initial phase includes the allocation of 46,000 units nationwide, with 8,050 units specifically designated for the Sissaoui urban pole in Constantine. This launch demonstrated the program’s readiness for implementation.

Minister of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, oversaw the laying of the foundation stone for 20,000 AADEL 3 housing units in the Sidi Hajjaj urban pole in Boumerdes on December 15th. This project is one of the largest residential hubs planned under the AADEL 3 initiative.

The AADEL 3 program is expected to significantly impact housing availability and urban development across Algeria. These projects aim to provide affordable and quality housing for citizens. The government is committed to meeting the growing demand for housing.
