The advisory indicates that snowfall is expected to persist in several regions, including Tizi Ouzou, Tlemcen, Batna, M’Sila, Bordj Bou Arreridj, and Setif. This period of snowfall is anticipated to last until 6:00 AM local time tomorrow, Thursday.
In addition to the snowfall, the National Meteorological Office has also issued a warning for significant thunderstorms affecting a wide range of provinces. These thunderstorms, which began at 6:00 AM today, Wednesday, are also expected to continue until 6:00 AM tomorrow, Thursday. The affected provinces include: Sidi Bel Abbes, Tissemsilt, Laghouat, Relizane, Bejaia, Tiaret, Tizi Ouzou, Chlef, Mostaganem, Ain Temouchent, Djelfa, Tlemcen, El Bayadh, Ain Defla, Medea, Biskra, Saida, Naama, Bouira, Mascara, Ouled Djellal, and Oran.
