Israeli Strike on Jannata, Southern Lebanon, Causes Injuries

Jannata, Southern Lebanon – An Israeli strike targeted a vehicle in the town of Jannata, located in the Tyre district of Southern Lebanon, on Wednesday evening, resulting in injuries. According to reports, the strike was carried out by an Israeli drone.

A Lebanese security source confirmed that the Israeli action led to the destruction of the vehicle and caused casualties. Other reports indicated that the vehicle was completely burned in the attack.

Earlier in the day, Israeli warplanes conducted raids on the towns of Zefta and Al-Numayriyah in the Nabatieh district, located in the central sector of Southern Lebanon. The strikes also targeted the vicinity of the towns of Tebna in the Sidon district and Houmin, further south.

The Israeli military claimed that it targeted Hezbollah positions and destroyed military infrastructure used by the group in its recent operations.

Despite a ceasefire agreement reached late last year, Israel continues to conduct daily attacks on Lebanon, particularly in the southern region.

Tensions remain high in the region, with both sides accusing each other of violating the ceasefire. The situation remains volatile and could escalate at any time.
