Ministers Commemorate 47th Anniversary of President Boumediene’s Death

The Minister of Mujahideen and Veterans, Abdelmalek Tacherift, alongside the Minister of Industry, Yahia Bachir, and the Governor of Guelma Province, Samir Chibani, commemorated the 47th anniversary of the death of the late President Houari Boumediene. The commemoration took place in the municipality of Medjez Amar, specifically in the Arara region, where the historical landmark of the late President’s family home is located.

The delegation raised the national flag, laid a wreath of flowers, and recited the Fatiha in remembrance of the deceased. The ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the National Organization of Mujahideen, the Secretary-General of the National Organization of Sons of Martyrs, members of parliament from both houses, as well as civil and military authorities and members of the revolutionary family.

The delegation also toured the birthplace of President Houari Boumediene, praising this historical site that embodies the journey of one of the most prominent figures in the Algerian state. The visit served as a reminder of his national and historical legacy in Algeria’s path.

The commemoration highlighted President Boumediene’s enduring impact on Algeria’s history and development. His contributions continue to be recognized and celebrated by the nation.
