Tamanrasset Hosts National Handicrafts Fair

Tamanrasset, Algeria – Over 70 artisans representing 25 provinces are participating in the 23rd National Salon for the Support of Traditional Saharan Handicrafts. The event commenced Thursday evening in the city of Tamanrasset.

The salon aims to promote and preserve the rich heritage of traditional crafts from the Saharan regions of Algeria. This year’s edition showcases a diverse range of handmade products, including traditional clothing, leather goods, pottery, jewelry, and intricately woven carpets.

Visitors to the salon will have the opportunity to directly interact with the artisans, learn about their craft techniques, and purchase unique, handcrafted items. The event also provides a platform for artisans to network, exchange ideas, and explore new market opportunities.
