Israeli Forces Conduct Operation in Qabatiya After Attack

Israeli forces have launched a military operation in the town of Qabatiya, located north of the West Bank. The operation follows a deadly attack in Beisan, northern Israel, where two Israelis were killed and six others injured in a combined ramming and stabbing incident.

According to Israeli police, a Palestinian individual crossed from the West Bank into Beisan and carried out the attack. Authorities stated that the individual did not possess a work permit.

Reports indicate the operation in Qabatiya, near Jenin, is part of what some are calling an “engineering operation.” This allegedly involves the demolition of homes, infrastructure, and residential complexes, with the aim of displacing Palestinian residents.

Forces from the Israeli army and the Duvdevan unit reportedly entered Qabatiya and initiated an investigation into the perpetrator of the Beisan attack. Air support was also requested.
