Algiers – The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, responsible for the National Community Abroad, Mr. Sofiane Chaib, received a group of Algerian students from the diaspora on Saturday. This meeting took place as part of the Winter University activities organized for their benefit.
The Winter University program is a collaborative effort, implemented in close cooperation with various ministerial departments, national institutions, and organizations. The initiative aims to strengthen ties between Algeria and its diaspora youth, providing them with opportunities for cultural exchange and educational enrichment.
During the reception, Mr. Chaib emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting Algerian students abroad and facilitating their connection with their homeland. He highlighted the importance of their role as ambassadors of Algerian culture and values in their respective countries of residence.
“We are immensely proud of the achievements of our students abroad,” Mr. Chaib stated. “Their success reflects positively on Algeria and contributes to the strengthening of our nation’s reputation on the international stage.”
