Algiers – Prime Minister Sifi Ghrib inaugurated the National Forum on “Legal Security and its Impact on Economic Development” today, Saturday, at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center in Algiers. The forum is being held under the high patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The event brings together legal experts, economists, policymakers, and representatives from the business community to discuss the crucial role of a stable and predictable legal framework in fostering sustainable economic growth. Discussions will focus on identifying key challenges hindering legal security in Algeria and proposing concrete solutions to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability within the legal system.
Prime Minister Ghrib, in his opening address, emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening the rule of law and creating a business-friendly environment that attracts both domestic and foreign investment. He highlighted the importance of clear and consistently enforced regulations in promoting fair competition, protecting property rights, and reducing corruption.
The forum is expected to feature a series of presentations, panel discussions, and workshops covering a wide range of topics, including the impact of legal security on investment decisions, the role of the judiciary in upholding the rule of law, and the importance of access to justice for all citizens.
