Palestinian Injured in Tulkarm, Elderly Man Assaulted in Hebron

A Palestinian man was injured late Sunday in the northern West Bank after his vehicle was reportedly struck by an Israeli military vehicle. Separately, footage has emerged showing Israeli soldiers allegedly mistreating an elderly Palestinian man in Hebron.

According to reports, Fadi Mrouh was driving on Al-Quds Open University street in Tulkarm when his car was hit by what was described as an Israeli occupation vehicle. The impact resulted in injuries requiring his transfer to Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital by the Palestinian Red Crescent. His vehicle sustained significant damage.

Simultaneously, video circulating online purportedly shows Israeli soldiers assaulting 61-year-old Saeed Al-Amour from the village of Al-Rakiz in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. The footage allegedly depicts Al-Amour, who is an amputee using crutches, being knocked to the ground and kicked. One soldier appears to point a weapon at him.

Al-Amour has reportedly been injured in several previous attacks, including a shooting last April that resulted in the amputation of his leg.

Meanwhile, Israeli media outlet Channel 7 reports that the military has recently begun altering its deployment strategy in the northern West Bank, including the re-establishment of a brigade headquarters in the area.

Raids and Arrests

Overnight and into Monday morning, the West Bank witnessed a series of raids and arrests in various locations, concentrated primarily in Ramallah. Six young men were reportedly arrested after Israeli forces raided homes in Silwad, causing damage to property. Those identified include freed prisoners Abdullah Abbas and Mamoun Hamed, as well as Saji Baha Hamed and Ahmed Yasin Hamed.

Israeli forces also entered the Umm al-Sharayet neighborhood in Al-Bireh, deploying sound bombs in residential areas. In addition, a young man was reportedly arrested during a raid on Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem.

In Nablus, two young men were allegedly arrested after their homes in the Balata refugee camp, east of the city, were raided. Concurrently, Israeli military forces reportedly entered the city of Dura, south of Hebron, conducting vehicle searches.
