Algiers, December 31, 2025 – Prime Minister Sifi Ghrib presided over a government meeting today dedicated to examining several important national projects and policy initiatives.
A central focus of the meeting was the presentation and discussion surrounding the development of a comprehensive social map for Algeria. This initiative aims to create a powerful decision-making tool, facilitating an integrated system for planning, coordination, and monitoring. The objective is to effectively direct public policies and financial resources towards priority development programs at both the national and local levels. This strategic approach seeks to optimize resource allocation and ensure targeted investment in critical areas.
Furthermore, the government continued its in-depth review of projects underway to realize the digital transformation of Algeria, in accordance with presidential directives. The meeting included an assessment of the progress made in digitizing various ministerial sectors. This digitization effort is designed to enhance transparency, combat bureaucracy, and ensure equitable and efficient access to information and public services for all citizens.
The government also revisited the proposed national digital services portal, “Dzair Digital Services.” This portal aims to streamline public services offered online, thereby improving their quality and effectiveness. By providing a single point of access to digital public services, it will significantly simplify administrative procedures for citizens.
Beyond citizen-facing services, this national platform is also expected to bolster digital exchanges between different government administrations, providing a clearer overview of public policies and facilitating more effective governance.
Finally, as part of ongoing monitoring of major public projects, the government reviewed the progress of several initiatives related to the construction of new urban centers, sports facilities, and road infrastructure. The meeting also included updates on the ongoing development of Algerian airspace management systems. These infrastructural projects are seen as vital to Algeria’s continued economic and social development.
