The Ministry of Industry has launched a new digital platform designed for economic operators, aiming to streamline the reporting of industrial production data. The initiative, operating under the slogan ‘Reliable Statistics for the Protection and Support of National Products,’ seeks to collect and process industrial data regularly and systematically.
This initiative intends to enhance the reliability of statistics used in developing public policies and to support the protection of national products. The official launch of the digital space was carried out on behalf of the Minister of Industry, Yahya Bachir, with the Secretary-General of the Ministry and the Head of the Minister’s Office overseeing the process. The central unit responsible for assisting economic operators in registering and exchanging data via the platform was also present.
This step aligns with the directives of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which aim to modernize public administration and establish digital transformation as a strategic option. It also embodies the Ministry of Industry’s policy of modernizing management mechanisms, simplifying procedures, supporting economic operators, and enhancing transparency in the management of industrial activity.
The digital platform aims to provide a comprehensive overview of industrial performance indicators at the national level. This will be achieved by collecting data on production volume, production capacities, inputs used, and technical data. This data collection aims to improve monitoring, decision-making, and support for national products.
The Ministry has called on all economic operators working in the manufacturing sector to begin registering on the digital platform. A practical guide explaining the registration steps and how to use the platform’s various functions is available for download on the Ministry’s official website.
