Coach Mustapha Biskri has lauded the impressive performances of rising star Ibrahim Mazeh, identifying him as a key talent for the future of Algerian football.
During an appearance on DZWatch’s “DZ Kan” program, Biskri highlighted Mazeh’s rapid development. He noted that Mazeh played in the German second division last season but has now established himself as a regular starter in one of Europe’s top four leagues. Biskri emphasized the player’s remarkable progress within a short period.
Addressing rumors of scouts from FC Barcelona observing Mazeh, Biskri stated that this was not surprising given the player’s immense potential and consistent high-level performances, which demonstrate his maturity despite his young age. “Ibrahim Mazeh possesses exceptional qualities and a strong character on the field,” Biskri stated, adding that Mazeh commands respect from his peers.
Biskri believes that Mazeh is a genuine prospect for the national team, potentially contributing for at least a decade. He concluded by affirming that Mazeh has proven his abilities and possesses all the necessary attributes to reach the highest levels of European and international football. “He is a player we can bet on for a long time,” Biskri added.
