Algiers, January 1, 2026 – The National Company for Marketing and Distribution of Petroleum Products (Naftal) has issued a statement reassuring citizens regarding the availability of all petroleum products at its stations nationwide during the New Year holiday period.
In a press release, Naftal stated, “Naftal informs its valued customers that on the occasion of the New Year 2026 holiday coinciding with the weekend, all petroleum products will be available at all its stations, which will remain open, as on all other days of the year, 24 hours a day, throughout the national territory.”
The company emphasized its commitment to ensuring a consistent and adequate supply of fuel to meet the needs of travelers and residents alike during this peak period. This includes gasoline, diesel, and other essential petroleum products.
Anticipating increased demand for butane gas during the winter season, Naftal affirmed that it has taken a series of proactive measures “to ensure the regular availability of this vital product in sufficient quantities throughout its commercial network.” These measures include increasing stock levels at distribution centers and optimizing delivery schedules to ensure timely replenishment of supplies at service stations.
