Gold Prices Rebound After Hitting Two-Week Low

Gold prices experienced a slight increase yesterday, recovering from a two-week low as other precious metals also rebounded from losses incurred last week.

Spot gold rose by 0.8 percent, reaching $4346.69 per ounce. Similarly, U.S. gold futures for February delivery saw a 0.5 percent increase, settling at $4360.60 per ounce.

Other precious metals also saw gains. Silver in spot trading increased by 2.1 percent to $72.75 per ounce. Platinum rose by 0.2 percent to $2057.74 per ounce, while palladium saw a more significant increase of 2.4 percent, reaching $1642.90 per ounce.

Market analysts are closely watching these trends, as fluctuations in precious metal prices can reflect broader economic uncertainties and investor sentiment. Further developments in the global economy are expected to influence the trajectory of these metals in the coming weeks.

DZWatch will continue to provide updates on market movements and their potential impact on the Algerian economy.
