Israeli Airstrikes Hit Gaza, Displacing Tent Targeted

Gaza City – Israeli forces conducted a series of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, with reports indicating that a tent housing displaced civilians was directly targeted. The attacks have resulted in multiple injuries and further strained the already fragile humanitarian situation in the region.

According to medical sources in Gaza, at least four Palestinians, including a woman and two children, were wounded when an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a displacement tent in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza. The incident occurred outside areas where the Israeli military is deployed, specifically in the Al-Atatra area. The drone strike was reportedly followed by artillery shelling of the same location.

Reports also indicate that Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on areas east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, as well as east of Gaza City and Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. The strikes reportedly targeted the towns of Abasan al-Kabira and Abasan al-Saghira, east of Khan Yunis, and the eastern part of Deir al-Balah.

Witnesses reported that Israeli helicopters, flying at low altitude, opened fire with machine guns on civilian homes in the Abu al-Ajeen area, within the zone controlled by the Israeli military. In eastern Gaza City, particularly in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, intense airstrikes were carried out by Israeli warplanes, coinciding with heavy gunfire from forces deployed near the Morag axis and inside the city of Rafah.

These latest attacks come amid ongoing concerns regarding violations of the ceasefire agreement. According to the Ministry of Health, the ongoing breaches of the ceasefire, which initially took effect on October 10th, have resulted in the deaths of over 400 Palestinians.
