Algeria Post Warns Customers of Scam Pages and Fake Contests

Algiers – Algeria Post has issued a warning to its customers regarding fraudulent pages and links circulating on social media platforms. These deceptive entities are promoting fake contests and offers while falsely claiming affiliation with the postal service.

In a statement released today, Algeria Post emphasized that these fraudulent pages exploit the company’s name and logo to mislead and defraud unsuspecting individuals. The postal service urged customers to exercise extreme caution and avoid clicking on any untrustworthy links or interacting with suspicious content bearing the Algeria Post name without official verification.

Algeria Post clarified that all legitimate information, offers, and contests are exclusively announced through its official and verified social media channels. The company stressed the importance of reporting any suspicious pages or links through these official channels.

“We are committed to protecting our customers from online fraud,” the statement read. Algeria Post reiterated its dedication to safeguarding its customers and advised them to rely solely on official sources to ensure the security of their personal data and to avoid falling victim to electronic scams.

The warning comes amid a rise in online scams targeting Algerian citizens.
