Oran, Algeria – Authorities in Oran have issued a public statement urging vigilance against online fraud, following the arrest of an individual suspected of running a scam targeting citizens through social media platforms.

The suspect was apprehended under a warrant issued by the Public Prosecutor at the Flaouassen Court, according to a statement released by the Oran Security Services. The arrest followed a detailed investigation conducted by officers from the Bir El Djir security division, aimed at uncovering the circumstances of the alleged fraud and identifying potential victims.
