Justice Ministry Announces Training Program for Judges

Algiers, January 4, 2026 – The Ministry of Justice has announced the scheduling of a training program for judges, set to commence on January 7th. This initiative underscores the Ministry’s commitment to ongoing professional development within the judiciary.

According to a statement released by the Ministry, the training program will involve 48 judges specializing in the enforcement of penalties. The program will take the form of a remote research workshop focusing on “Procedures for Adapting and Implementing Penalties.” This intensive workshop aims to provide judges with updated knowledge and practical skills in this crucial area of legal practice.

The Ministry of Justice emphasized that this training program is being conducted in collaboration with the Center for Legal and Judicial Research.
