Algiers, Algeria – The National Social Insurance Fund for Salaried Workers (CNAS) has announced the introduction of a new service designed to streamline social security contributions for employers. This initiative is part of CNAS’s ongoing efforts to digitize and modernize payment methods while enhancing the quality of services provided.
According to a statement released by CNAS, the new automated deduction service enables employers to consistently meet payment deadlines, avoiding penalties and surcharges associated with late payments. The system also ensures accurate reconciliation between declared amounts and actual payments.
The service aims to improve the monitoring of contribution payments with increased speed and security. By automating the process, CNAS also hopes to alleviate administrative burdens, eliminating the need for employers to physically visit CNAS offices to pay employee contributions.
To utilize the service, employers must grant prior authorization to their bank, allowing CNAS to automatically deduct the required contributions directly from their accounts within the legal deadlines. This new system promises a more efficient and reliable method for managing social security contributions.
This initiative underscores CNAS’s commitment to modernizing its services and supporting businesses in Algeria.
