SEAAL teams continued their mobilization on Tuesday night at the leak repair site in the Ben Yamina neighborhood of Boudouaou, Boumerdes province.
According to a statement from the company, operational teams are conducting excavation, expansion, site cleaning, and continuous pumping of remaining water to prepare the area for repair work according to established standards.
The organization confirmed that work is ongoing to complete maintenance by placing repair collars with a diameter of 2000/200 mm around the leak site to stop it permanently and make the network operational again.
The company reassured that the process is in full swing to complete the preparation and repair work to return the main pipeline to service as soon as possible.
It also emphasized that its teams remain mobilized 24/7 to ensure the continuity and continuous improvement of public water and sanitation services in the provinces of Algiers and Tipaza.
