Algiers – Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received the United States Ambassador to Algeria, Elizabeth Moore Aubin, today at the Ministry headquarters. Ambassador Aubin paid a farewell visit as her diplomatic mission in Algeria concludes.
The meeting served as an opportunity to review the state of cooperation and partnership between Algeria and the United States. Both parties acknowledged the level of political dialogue and the positive momentum in bilateral relations across various fields of mutual interest.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of current regional and international issues, reaffirming the importance of coordination and consultation to serve stability and peace at both regional and international levels.
Minister Attaf expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the American Ambassador during her accreditation in Algeria. He wished her success in her future endeavors and reiterated Algeria’s commitment to further strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation with the United States of America.
