The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received the Director General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Amy Pope, today at the Ministry headquarters. Ms. Pope is currently on an official visit to Algeria.
According to a statement released by the Ministry, the meeting focused on examining various aspects of the existing cooperation between Algeria and the IOM. Discussions also centered on ways to strengthen these relations to ensure effective management of the challenges associated with migration issues. The aim is to optimally leverage international expertise in this field.
