Palestinian Injured by Israeli Drone Strike in Gaza

A Palestinian civilian was injured today after being struck by a bomb dropped from an Israeli drone in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The incident marks another alleged violation of the ceasefire agreement.

Medical sources reported that the injured individual arrived at the Baptist Hospital in central Gaza City. The injury was sustained after a quadcopter drone, allegedly operated by Israeli forces, targeted a residence belonging to the Al-Batsh family.

The explosive device caused a fire within the building. Civil defense teams were dispatched to the scene and successfully extinguished the blaze. No other injuries were reported.

In related developments, reports indicate that Israeli artillery shelled areas east of Gaza City. This bombardment coincided with heavy gunfire reportedly emanating from military vehicles stationed in the same area.

Furthermore, Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes targeting areas within their control, specifically east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip and Khan Yunis in the south. The Israeli military also reportedly carried out a series of controlled demolitions within areas of its deployment east of Gaza City. There were no immediate reports of casualties resulting from these demolitions.

These events follow ongoing reports of alleged daily violations of the ceasefire agreement, which came into effect on October 10, 2025. The situation remains tense, with concerns growing about the fragility of the existing truce.

DZWatch continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates as they become available.
