Today, Wednesday, January 7th, local thunderstorms are expected in El Tarf, Annaba, Skikda, Jijel, Souk Ahras, Guelma, Constantine, Mila, and Setif provinces. Sandstorms are forecast for Adrar and Bordj Badji Mokhtar. A cold wave is anticipated to impact Tebessa, Oum El Bouaghi, M’Sila, Tissemsilt, Tiaret, Saida, and Sidi Bel Abbes.
The weather pattern is expected to continue into Thursday, January 8th, with persistent sandstorms in Ain Salah, Adrar, and Bordj Badji Mokhtar. The cold wave will also continue to affect Tebessa, Oum El Bouaghi, M’Sila, Tissemsilt, Tiaret, Saida, and Sidi Bel Abbes.
Authorities are urging citizens, particularly drivers and residents in the affected areas, to exercise caution.
