Algiers, December 9, 2025 – Algeria is resolutely committed to eradicating corruption and safeguarding the authority of the state, according to a statement made by the President of the Council of the Nation, Azzouz Nasseri.
In a post published on his official X account, commemorating International Anti-Corruption Day, Nasseri affirmed Algeria’s unwavering commitment, under the leadership of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to combatting corruption, upholding the prestige of the state, and protecting public funds.
“On International Anti-Corruption Day, we reaffirm that Algeria, led by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is moving forward rigorously in uprooting corruption, preserving the state’s prestige, and protecting public money,” Nasseri stated.
He further emphasized the principles guiding this national endeavor. “Our battle is a battle for justice, transparency, and strong governance that supports the victorious path of Algeria, where there is no place for corruption and no immunity for anyone above the law,” he added.
