Accumulations are expected to reach up to 15 cm, with higher elevations like Chrea, Djurdjura, Babors, and Ouarsenis potentially exceeding 25 cm. The snowfall is predicted to continue until midday today. Extreme Cold: A significant cold snap is expected to grip several provinces. Minimum temperatures could plummet to -5 degrees Celsius, with maximum temperatures ranging between 4 and 6 degrees Celsius until dawn tomorrow. The affected provinces include Tlemcen, Naama, El Bayadh, Laghouat, Djelfa, Batna, and Khenchela.
A separate alert indicates that cold weather will persist until dawn tomorrow in the provinces of Tebessa, Oum El Bouaghi, M’Sila, Tiaret, Tissemsilt, Saida, and Sidi Bel Abbes. Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the cold.
