Soumaa, Algeria – The Minister of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transportation, Said Saayoud, alongside the Director-General of National Security, Ali Badaoui, presided over the unified graduation ceremony for police officers today at the Abdelmadjid Bouzebid National Security Application School in Soumaa.
The ceremony was dedicated to the memory of police commissioner Djaghoub Saleh, a martyr of national duty. This symbolic gesture underscores the nation’s gratitude and recognition of the sacrifices made by security forces in protecting the country and safeguarding its citizens.
The event was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Interior and the General Directorate of National Security, as well as families of the graduates.
In his address, the Minister highlighted the pivotal role of the National Security forces in maintaining security and stability. He emphasized the importance of quality training and professional discipline in addressing various security challenges. He urged the graduates to embrace responsibility, adhere to public service values, and serve citizens with integrity and professionalism.
The Director-General of National Security affirmed the commitment to continuously modernizing the training and supervision system to align with current transformations and the demands of modern security. He commended the efforts of those responsible for training the new officers.
This graduation strengthens the National Security forces with newly qualified personnel, equipped with the necessary scientific and professional skills to enhance field readiness and promote peace of mind throughout the nation. This influx of trained officers will bolster security operations across Algeria.
