Algiers, January 8, 2026 – Madar Holding’s Board of Directors announced today the appointment of Adel Khemane as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), in addition to his current role as Chairman of the Board. This decision aims to strengthen the Holding’s governance and support its strategic dynamics.
According to a statement from Madar Holding, this appointment is a culmination of a distinguished and successful career, reflecting his technical competence and extensive experience in leadership and strategic management of large organizations. Adel Khemane has held senior positions in strategic sectors, most notably leading major policies in the fields of telecommunications and industry.
Previously, he held leadership positions at the Société Nationale de Sidérurgie (SNS), the National Iron and Steel Company, overseeing organizational and structural reforms that enhanced the institution’s performance. He also served as Chairman of the Board of the Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS) company.
The appointment reflects the confidence placed in Adel Khemane to lead Madar Holding during this phase, given his extensive experience, strategic management capabilities, and vision based on efficiency, innovation, and economic performance.
