Algiers – The Sidi M’Hamed post office in Algiers is currently undergoing a significant expansion and modernization project. This initiative is part of a broader effort by Algeria Post to modernize the national postal network and improve the quality of services provided to citizens.
The renovation aims to create a more modern and welcoming space for customers, providing improved facilities and a more efficient service environment. Authorities have stated that the project is part of a comprehensive program designed to upgrade postal facilities and enhance their ability to meet the needs of the public, focusing on both comfort and speed of service.
To ensure uninterrupted service during the construction period, all postal services have been temporarily relocated to the Mohamed Belouizdad post office. This temporary relocation will remain in effect until the expansion and modernization work is completed, and the Sidi M’Hamed post office reopens with its upgraded facilities.
Algeria Post has expressed its gratitude to the public for their understanding and patience during this period. The institution reaffirmed its commitment to continuous improvement in performance and enhancement of postal services to meet customer expectations and strengthen the concept of community-based postal services that are easily accessible to all citizens.
DZWatch will continue to provide updates on the progress of this project and other developments within Algeria Post.
