Algiers – The Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transportation has called on citizens selected to perform the Hajj pilgrimage for the 1447 AH/2026 season to promptly collect their Hajj success certificates from their local municipality. This certificate is the first official and essential document required to initiate the various administrative and organizational procedures related to the pilgrimage.
The Ministry emphasized that the success certificate is a crucial first step in opening a pilgrim’s file and commencing the completion of subsequent stages. These stages particularly concern organizational arrangements, health monitoring, and the timely verification of administrative data.
Authorities stressed the importance of adhering to the established schedule and approved procedures. They affirmed that the safety and health of the pilgrim are fundamental conditions for completing the rituals in the best possible circumstances. This is part of ongoing efforts to ensure an organized and safe Hajj season.
This reminder is issued in coordination with the National Office of Hajj and Umrah, which continues to support and guide pilgrims through various stages. The Ministry urges all those concerned to approach their respective municipalities and avoid delays in collecting the required documents to prevent any obstacles that may hinder the timely completion of procedures.
These measures are expected to improve the quality of services provided to Algerian pilgrims and ensure their administrative and health preparedness before heading to the Holy Lands.
