Severe Weather Alert: Snow, Rain, and Temperature Drop Expected Sunday

DZWatch News has received reports of anticipated inclement weather conditions across several regions of the country tomorrow, Sunday. Citizens are advised to take necessary precautions in light of the forecast.

Eastern provinces can expect rainfall, while higher elevations will likely experience snowfall. The northern regions, particularly the eastern and central wilayas, will see rain throughout the morning. Skies are expected to become partly cloudy by the afternoon. Snowfall is predicted for areas above 1200 meters.

The wilayas most likely to be affected by rainfall include Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Constantine, Guelma, and Souk Ahras. Coastal temperatures are forecast to range between 15 and 17 degrees Celsius. Inland regions can expect temperatures between 7 and 15 degrees Celsius. Wind speeds may reach up to 40 km/h.

Southern areas will experience a mix of sunny and cloudy conditions. Temperatures in the south are expected to range from 14 to 31 degrees Celsius, with potential wind speeds reaching 50 km/h.
