DZWatch has obtained footage documenting an Israeli military strike targeting workers in the central Gaza Strip. The incident resulted in injuries to several individuals.
The video, reportedly captured by a surveillance camera, shows a group of workers standing near heavy machinery and trucks when a projectile suddenly impacts the area. While two individuals near the equipment managed to flee, at least one person appears to have been injured and fell to the ground following the explosion.
According to reports, the targeted workers were employed by the municipality in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp. The exact number of injured remains unconfirmed.
This incident follows reports of increased Israeli military activity in various parts of Gaza. Earlier on Saturday, reports indicated that three Palestinians were killed and seven others wounded in separate airstrikes and ground operations. Medical sources confirmed fatalities in eastern Gaza City and Khan Younis. One body was recovered from the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood following a strike the previous day.
DZWatch has learned that Israeli airstrikes also targeted areas east of Rafah, Khan Younis, Deir al-Balah, and northern Gaza. Helicopter fire was reported in the eastern areas of Jabalia. In southern Gaza, an airstrike hit Rafah, while military vehicles opened fire north of the city.
Palestinian news agency WAFA also reported injuries resulting from Israeli shelling near the entrance of the Al-Maghazi camp. These events occur amidst ongoing concerns about violations of the ceasefire agreement, which went into effect on October 10th. According to the latest figures from the Gaza Ministry of Health, the ceasefire violations have resulted in the deaths of over 424 Palestinians and injuries to 1199 others. DZWatch continues to monitor the situation closely.
