Algiers – President Abdelmadjid Tebboune underscored the critical need to expand Algeria’s cultivated agricultural land to 3 million hectares. This directive was issued during Sunday’s Council of Ministers meeting, reflecting the government’s commitment to bolstering the nation’s food security and agricultural output.
The President emphasized that increasing the area under cultivation is paramount to achieving self-sufficiency in key agricultural products and reducing reliance on imports.
