Minister Saihi Oversees Evaluation of CNAS Activities

Algiers – Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Abdelhak Saihi, presided over an evaluation meeting dedicated to monitoring and assessing the activities of the National Social Security Fund for Salaried Workers (CNAS). The meeting took place Wednesday as part of a series of periodic evaluation sessions the Minister holds with various organizations and institutions under his supervision, according to a statement released by the ministry.

The evaluation focused on key performance indicators of the CNAS, including its efficiency in providing social security benefits to eligible workers, its effectiveness in managing financial resources, and its adherence to established regulations and procedures. The meeting also provided an opportunity to identify areas for improvement and to discuss strategies for enhancing the overall performance of the CNAS.

Minister Saihi emphasized the importance of the CNAS in ensuring the social well-being of Algerian workers and their families. He reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting the CNAS in its mission to provide quality social security services to all eligible beneficiaries. He urged officials to continue their efforts to modernize the CNAS and to improve its responsiveness to the needs of the population.

The evaluation meeting included presentations from senior CNAS officials on various aspects of the fund’s operations, followed by discussions and feedback from Minister Saihi and other participants. The meeting concluded with a set of recommendations for further action to strengthen the CNAS and to ensure its long-term sustainability.
