Algiers – The Ministry of Internal Trade and Market Regulation has announced the official commencement of the 2026 winter sales season. Starting January 18th, the sales period will extend beyond the holy month of Ramadan and the Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
According to a ministry statement, this decision responds to increased consumer demand during the winter months. The timing also caters to the particularly high demand characteristic of Ramadan and the lead-up to Eid, allowing consumers to benefit from discounts during this period.
