Setif, Algeria – A tragic road accident in the Setif province has resulted in one fatality and injuries to seven others. The incident occurred earlier today on the Wilaya Road 113, between the towns of Guellal and Ras El Ma, within the municipality and district of Guellal.
Civil Protection units from Guellal, reinforced by a team from the main Setif unit, responded to the scene at approximately 3:52 PM local time. Reports indicate a head-on collision between two passenger vehicles.
DZWatch has learned that the accident claimed the life of an elderly woman at the scene. Among the injured are members of a family – a man, his wife, and their two children – as well as three other men. One of the injured is reportedly in critical condition.
Emergency services personnel provided immediate medical assistance to the injured at the site of the collision. All seven individuals were subsequently transported to the emergency department of the Setif University Hospital Center for further treatment.
