Algiers, Algeria – A delegation from the Russian State Duma arrived in Algeria today, Monday, for an official visit scheduled to last from January 19th to January 23rd. The delegation is led by Dmitry Sablin, coordinator of the deputy group responsible for relations with parliaments of the Middle East and North Africa.
The visit, according to a statement from the People’s National Assembly, aims to further strengthen parliamentary cooperation and consultation between the two nations. The delegation was received at Houari Boumediene International Airport by members of the Algeria-Russia parliamentary friendship group, headed by Abdel Salam Bechagha, the group’s chairman.
