A brass quintet from the U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa Band, a distinguished ensemble of the U.S. military, has arrived in Algiers for a series of musical and cultural exchanges with the Algerian Republican Guard. This visit underscores the ongoing cooperation between the United States and Algeria, highlighting the power of music to foster mutual understanding and strengthen bilateral ties.

The program also includes guided tours of the El Mujahid Museum and the Army Museum, allowing the American delegation to gain insights into Algeria’s rich history and heritage.
A highlight of the visit will be concerts held at the U.S. Embassy in Algiers, where the quintet will present a diverse program featuring re-arranged classical pieces, traditional marches, jazz, and contemporary musical works. These performances will celebrate the shared values of friendship, respect, and cooperation between the United States and Algeria.
