Trump Invites Leaders to Join Gaza Peace Council

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has extended invitations to prominent world leaders and influential figures to join the Gaza Peace Council. This initiative is part of his broader plan aimed at fostering lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians.

Since Trump announced the establishment of the Gaza Peace Council, numerous official statements and news reports have surfaced, detailing the invitations extended to various heads of state and key individuals. The Council is envisioned as a central component of the Trump peace plan, which has underpinned the Gaza ceasefire agreement since its implementation on October 10, 2025.

President of Turkey: The Turkish Directorate of Communications confirmed that Trump invited President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to participate as a founding member of the Peace Council, with responsibilities spanning security and reconstruction efforts in Gaza.

President of Egypt: The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the invitation extended to President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, stating its acceptance and confirming ongoing efforts to fulfill the necessary legal and constitutional procedures.

President of Azerbaijan: Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced its acceptance of the invitation to participate in the Peace Council.

Prime Minister of Israel: The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a statement confirming his acceptance of Trump’s invitation to join the Peace Council.

President of the United Arab Emirates: The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has accepted the invitation to join the Council.

King of Bahrain: Manama announced that King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has also accepted the invitation to participate.
